A popular wedding ceremony and reception destination in Northern Colorado is the Tapestry House, which is located in Laporte, just north of Fort Collins. The Tapestry House consists of a beautiful home, an outdoor wedding area and a reception hall. In a recent wedding photo shoot that I had at the Tapestry House, the bride prepared for the ceremony in the first floor master bedroom, while the groom prepared in one of the many other rooms upstairs. As the bride was getting ready, I photographed the groom and his family on the balcony of the house. When the bride was ready to be photographed, I took photos of her getting her hair done and spending time with her mother and maid of honor.

The outdoor wedding ceremony was beautiful. At the end of the ceremony the guests showered the bride and groom with rose petals. Immediately after the ceremony, I photographed all of the guests in front of the Tapestry House. I was able to capture the entire group by taking the photo from a second floor bedroom.  While I photographed the traditional wedding portraits of the bridal party, the guests enjoyed cocktails in the reception hall right next to the home. Later that evening, there was an elegant dinner and dancing. The bride and groom had a great time celebrating their wedding at the Tapestry House.
